Summer Travels

Hello Cheekies,

Sorry we haven't blogged in a while, we have been trying to figure a few major things out.
After taking some time to think about what we should do this summer. We have decided to spend the summer traveling and meeting many new people. Even though we are broke we are not going to let that get in the way of our dreams like most people. We know that this what we are suppose to do with our lives and even if we rack up a shit ton of debt, we would have lived a life we were proud of which is the most important thing ever!!!!!! We are tired of feeling trapped here and feel like we must go out and see the world.
Our first stop on the map is going to be Orlando Florida, We are going to spend some time chilling on the beach and going to Disney World and more excitingly going to Universal Studios to go to Harry Potter World(we will post pictures, and yes we are buying wands...woooooo)

This is the first of many stops we will be making and we will put our next stop up after our adventure in Florida. We will put pictures and maybe some cheeky videos.

Ombre Hair Journey

Hello Cheekies!

Its Sam, I wanted to share a little story with you lovely people about my ombre hair journey. So back in Early November I did a sort of Fire truck red Ombre
Well in about mid December the red had faded to an oragney brown which i expected but I didnt want to pay $50 to get it re colored so in January I finally to decided to do it my self.
I had decided to do a pink ombre that Kylie was nice enough to do for me.

Well after five weeks the pink washed out and well I had that somewhat orange color again and i was not feeling that color at all. So i decided hey why not do something different. I decided to do teal. So I bought Splat teal hair color expecting it to turn out really pretty cause teal hair is so pretttyyy. So I bleached my hair washed it out dried it and then put the color in and I left it in for a long time since my hair takes a long time for color to take. Well I washed it out and dried it and noticed that it didnt take what so ever. Some parts where green, some parts teal, and some parts brown which didnt make sense but whatever. I was so disappointed that it didnt work. So i applied the teal color one more time just hoping that another colour layer would work. Nope I was wrong....I didnt take a picture but imagine the wicked witches face color and that was my hair color. By this time it was 12 am. and well i was pretty annoyed with it so i went to bed. The next morning i went to walmart and bought a regular hair dye kit which was a red color and I dyed it that day. Yeah i'm aware that bleaching my hair than two teal applications and this read on top of that is not good for my hair but it was really bad with the blue so cut me a break. I dyed my hair the red color and i was very pleased with it.
You can see it here. It looked good well the blue came back to haunt me. I washed my hair as normal with my color protecting shampoo and conditioner and well after three washes the Blue and red decided to turn some large spots of my hair freakin GRAY!!!! GRAY! im too young to gray.I was so horrified with it so i went to the store and at this time i was at my dads house and the towns pharamacy was closed so i went to Dollar General and grabbed the first redish color i saw which was a burgundy purple color which is really pretty.

Since it was a little box i grabbed two cause i have long thick hair and well one box usually isnt enough, and thank goodness it was three dollars a box  cause i only had ten on me. So right when i got to my dads house i dyed it again....so including the double teal application, the bleaching, the red color and this color, in total i died my hair five times in a week, i'm surprised it didnt fall out!! Well Thankfully my hair took to this color and i only used one box and well this is how it looks.

My hair looks like its the same color but its still ombred and if you look hard enough you can see the tone difference   i think you will be able to see it after a few washes. But i love the plum burgundy color a whole lot and i half way contemplated just doing my whole head this color since i have an extra box but i decided to just wash it a few times and see how i like it then.
so yeah thats my ombre journey.

I will never try any color outside the reds/pinks/plum colors again it was too traumatic.

New Camera, New Pictures

Hello Cheekies

Sam here, So I bought a new camera the other day off walmart.com. I got an amazing deal on this camera. I got a great case, an SD card and a GE X500 Digital camera Power Series all for the total price of $120 whoop whoop whooop an amazing deal right? This camera takes pictures as amazing as porfessional DSLR cameras as well as it has a million settings I could post several blog posts about settings but I wont. I bought this camera so Kylie and I can share and take amazing pictures or videos to show you lovely people things. So Here are some of the pictures that have been taken over the last two days enjoy!

 " So Goodnight Goodnight"

This is kinda blurry cause I was shivering taking it but I loved how ominous it looked.

"Here Comes the Sun, doo da doo doo"

"Could You make Me a Cup of Tea to Open My Eyes in the Right way"

"You Belong Among the Wild Flowers"

I love the Flower setting that the camera has it makes the Color Pop against the brown. Spring is coming Yayyyyy!!!!! about damn time!

"One Way or Another I'm Gonna Find You"

"And Let Me Kiss You"
I'm dorky I know deal with it!

"Oh Charlie"
This is Charlie my not so mini Mini Doxie! He just turned two and in his spare time he morphs into Dobby From Harry Potter.

Now the Next pictures were just awkward selfies but you can see the camera in them.

You can see its a very wide lens.

I call this my Kermit face.

As you can tell its a really decent size not to big or to small just perfect.
I might add my cheek bones look superb.

So Cheekies those are the first of many pictures to come.
I hope you have a great day!

Cross Shirt and ombre hair

Hello Cheekies,

So I am obsessed with crosses at the moment, and recently got a cross shirt to go with my collection.

This shirt is from H&M, and was $15.
It's a silky material and flows.
The back is longer than the front.

I can't wait to wear this in the summer time!

And if you havn't noticed I went ombre!
I did a more subtle look that isn't to blonde on the bottom or too dark on top.

It was super easy and my mum just used the brush it came with and put the blonde on the bottom.
Thanks mum!
So I would recommend this ombre kit.

Hope you enjoyed:)

Favorite Scents

Hello Cheekies,

It's Kylie and I am sharing some of my favorite scents.

Here are some perfumes, lotions and other beauty products.

Smelling good and fresh can brighten anyones mood:)

The soap is from World Market and is "Avocado & Coconut Milk." It smells so good and doesn't dry your skin out like some soaps.
The perfurmes are Euphoria, which is my favorite perfume at the moment, and the one on the right is "Lace" from Charming Charlie.

Lotions are a must when preventing dry skin. In the winter it is important to put lotion on daily.
The lotion on the top left is "Love Spell" from Victoria's Secret. It's smell is cherry blossom and peach.
The middle lotion has always been a favorite of mine, "Japanese Cherry Blossom," from Bath & Body Works. The last is Vera Wang "Princess," that can be bought in a lotion or perfume.

At the bottom left is from Sephora and can be a shampoo, shower gel or bubble bath. It is
"Black Currant Tart." I tend to use it as a shower gel and it leaves my skin smelling fresh all day.
The product in the middle is for damaged hair or smoothing down friz. It is "Purple Rose Oil." The smell is so refreshing and I wish it was made into a perfume or lotion.
On the right is "Aromatherapy," from Bath & Body Works. It is Eucalyptus Spearmint, it is a relaxing stress relieving body wash.

Hope you enjoyed my favorites:)
